Greetings Max Fans

Yes I know it has been a long time since I last wrote (if you calculate it in doggy years it's even longer for me than for you!!!) but I have been very busy and besides it's not easy getting to use the internet anymore as we have moved to a very stupid place where you can't get proper internet. My humans are very grumpy about it and are talking about moving AGAIN at the end of the year...just as I have made friends with a lab over the back, some shep dogs across the road and a cool samoyed (hello gorgeous), not to mention my arch nemesis, the stupid daccy who chased me but went all sooky when I chased it back - stupid looking sausage! I also have a best friend called Buster and we go on long adventures together. He has great people too and while my mum talks to his mum Buster and I go exploring.
As for moving house I started to worry the weekend before the big move, of course I hadn't been consulted but it didn't take me long to cotton on that strange things were afoot (or should I say apaw) when the boot started to be loaded up with all sorts of items. So when mum was preparing for a second trip I made my move...you can't get one over on a smart beagle like me...
I quite like it here because there are lots of rabbits to chase and so I get to put my beagling skills to work. Lately there haven't been many as it's been cold and all the heavy machinery might be frightening them. There used to be some pretty cool cows in a paddock that I liked to talk to but they've gone too. Mum doesn't let me off the lead as much anymore as I like to snoop in all the houses that are being built. Builders are very messy and love to leave lots of yummy scraps for me to clean up...I'm just doing my civic duty really.
I have new friend who comes to visit me every month. Her name is Tina. I could tell she was a great person straightaway cos she smells good. Also she drives a cool van with a giant blue dog behind it. She gives me yummy treats so I let her wash and dry me. She talks to me the whole time and I tell her all about my day. We're great friends. She's putting a picture up of me inside her big dog van because I'm her special friend.
I got a new bed recently; it's a futon. Mum bought it from Aunty Sue at Pet Panache. I miss Aunty Sue and the hand of Geoff (it always has treats) we live a long way from Pet Panache now but I know mum still goes there to buy my food and my treats, I just wish she would take me with her instead of the other two.

it is getting late and I want sleep so I better be off to dream of chasing rabbits.

Bye Bye

Max the Beagle

Hi Max,

you look pink. Nothing like the dog your mum had when I knew her. She had an old labrador that I think her family brought back from England and a fluffy white cat with a french name.

Nice blog for a dog.
